Jubilee REACH High School Site-Coach

Role and Responsibilities

The Site Coach is responsible to the Jubilee REACH leadership team, who is partnered and accountable to the principal and school staff, and is focused on building healthy relationships and a caring, accountable “community” in and around the school. Serving as an interdependent, intermediary, the Site Coach works with the Lead Site Coach to ensure that every child is known, loved, affirmed, and feels they “belong.”  The Site Coach successfully supports and executes a variety of relationship-building activities, sports, and services, while assisting Jubilee staff, and volunteers and helping to coordinate all faith-based and partner organizations serving at the school.

Qualifications:

  • Must be 26 years or older

  • Pass Federal fingerprint and State (WSP) background check and reference check 

  • Minimum HS diploma or GED equivalent, college degree preferred 

  • Posses a heart to serve and to love those most difficult to love

  • Minimum of 2 years experience working with youth

Areas of Responsibility and Quality Execution

  • Check-in with designated school staff daily

  • Work under the daily direction of the Jubilee REACH Lead Site Coach

  • Support daily activities and invest time in classes and be present in halls as requested by school staff and Site Coach

  • Facilitate before, during, and after school activities, sports, and services

  • Support and serve all onsite JR staff and volunteers

  • Account for assigned students on a regular basis, including one-on-one “check and connects”

  • Coordinate with FCC staff to support and serve the needs of students and families

  • Attend weekly Site Coach training meetings and periodic meetings with school Principals
