What you all did in one morning, would have been impossible for me. I have my yard back!

I feel like so much more than a volunteer. I’m also getting served by serving.

More Information!

  • Jubilee Service Day is an annual event in August that brings together people in the Eastside community to serve at local public schools and homes. Started in 2005 with one church serving at one school, this day has grown to involve over 2000 volunteers, 22 schools, and at least 50 homes in 2023.

Volunteers come from all over the community, primarily from local churches, organizations, businesses, and people already partnering with Jubilee REACH.

  • Teachers and staff of 20 local public schools register to receive volunteers to assist them in preparing the school and classrooms for the next school year.

Volunteers work with staff to do such things as: curriculum assembly, classroom organizing, arranging bookshelves, general cleaning, decorating, hanging things on walls, closet/cupboard organizing, and more.

The goal is to get things on their “to-do” lists crossed off, so they can spend more time preparing for the students.

  • Join a service project crew to help a homeowner-in-need within our community.

Projects can be yard clean up, home painting, fence building/staining & others.

Homeowners apply for help through a partnership with the City of Bellevue.

All projects are 8 am-12 pm.

    No special skills needed.

  • Yes! We encourage families to serve together. Children 12 and under who are ready to serve may do so with their parent or guardian.

    Childcare is not provided.

  • Yes, there are many opportunities to serve at the school locations, which involve lighter tasks and sitting down. You are able to make such a request on your registration.

  • Sewing Chair Pockets for classrooms, previously a Service Day Project, is now a year-round program. Our sewing team meets monthly with additional sewing time at home by some. We provide sets of completed chair pockets to classrooms as needed and other various sewing projects. We welcome new team members anytime. If you are interested in cutting fabric, serging, sewing or general organizational help email Nancy Campi at nancyc@jubileeREACH.org.

  • If you represent a youth, business or community group and are interested in being assigned to a school or home site as a group contact Nancy Campi to register by emailing jsd@jubileereach.org or click HERE to get involved.
